Xero - You can now use your WhatsApp to create Xero Transactions on the go!
To use Just Ask Xero (JAX) in WhatsApp, you need to first register your phone number in Xero and then initiate a conversation with JAX within the app. JAX appears as a regular WhatsApp contact and you can send it messages to request actions like creating draft invoices or updating quotes.
Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. Open Xero and navigate to the JAX icon: Look for the JAX logo (a stylized question mark) in the Xero web browser.
2. Register your mobile number: Click the JAX icon and select "Register your mobile number".
3. Choose WhatsApp: Select WhatsApp as your preferred messaging platform.
4. Accept terms and continue: Follow the prompts to accept the terms and conditions and proceed with the registration.
5. Receive a message from JAX: You should receive a confirmation message from JAX on WhatsApp, indicating that you're now connected.
6. Start chatting with JAX: Open WhatsApp and find the JAX contact, and you can now send messages to JAX to ask questions or perform actions like creating invoices.
Xero - Mobile App - Snap and Go
Take a photo of your receipt the moment you get it and upload it to your Xero software. This avoids lost or faded receipts and provides a high-quality digital copy instantly. (It also saves your bookkeeper from asking you for a copy on the daily)
MYOB PAYROLL - New feature! Employee document storage.
You can now upload and store documents like employment contracts, visas, and more – all within MYOB. Now within each employee file there is a new tab called documents. This is where you can upload key documents.
MYOB - AI Category Suggestions
Transaction matching is getting faster and smarter. Now you’ll receive suggested matches instead of needing to manually find the best match for your bank transactions. The AI model adapts to your past options, getting smarter and more accurate the more you use it.
Not For Profit Businesses - There are less than 8 months remaining until the reregistration deadline. Are you ready?
Before you apply to reregister make sure you have authority to act on behalf of your society. Only users who have authority can update society details or complete the reregistration process on the companies.govt.nz website. If you haven’t confirmed your authority yet, you’ll need to do that first (before you apply to reregister your society).
How do you know if you have authority? When you log in, your society’s name should appear on your dashboard under “My Businesses”. If its not there, this means you don’t have authority to act on behalf of your society. Registration is free.
